A3.1 DEFEATISM AND DEFEATIST ATTITUDES NOT ACCEPTABLE.
The comments below pertain to the NCR as
much as they do to Canada as a whole.
Defeatism and the “...can’t do anything…”
attitude versus the required “…can do
and let’s find solutions…” attitude actually needed. Negative attitudes and influence of lawyers and bureaucrats
concerned only with existing rules, “justifying” their own employment and
appearing to be “tough” within their own little office cliques at everybody
else’s expense.
What are we going to do about stopping the
defeatism that Stephen Harper has complained of?
Reference: “Harper Calls Canada a Nation
of Defeatists”. National Post, May 30th 2002, front page headline
article.
Does it make any sense that Canadians be
made to look, think and act like the defeatists that Stephen Harper complained
on in this May 2002 speech?
If this is to stop, then the bureaucrats and lawyers responsible for the
problems already referred to will have to be brought under control.
